Yes, it never ends, it seems. I went to see the doctor for a follow-up on my recent cervical facet shots. Now I have an appointment on Dec. 9 to get an epidural in my neck. She’s trying to find something to block or prevent those terrible head pains I get. I think I’ve convinced her that they must be neck related.
On the way there we stopped to eat lunch at Arby’s. I started getting a head ache while I was looking at the board menus on the wall. The ol’ bent neck trick. Doc saw my reasoning. She’d asked if it could be stress related….I told her getting lunch had never stressed me before!! I like to eat!!
Back to good news I had a lovely time at my craft show last Saturday. Didn’t break the bank in sales, but enjoyed the experience. I’m debating whether to go to Creeds Elementary for their craft show on Dec. 6. I just wish I’d made more kid hats now.
Sunday evening we went to Sea Crest to celebrate Mom’s birthday. It was great, new owners equal better food. We came back to Mom’s house to eat the handmade coconut cake I’d bought at the craft show and open presents. Perfect night.
We FINALLY got the application in at Social Security yesterday. That feels like a big weight has been lifted. Wonder how long it will take to be turned down. I’m hoping all the stuff Dr. Barr wrote them will convince them as much as she’s convinced. She’s basically trying to keep me “glued together” now.
I got 17 more therapy sessions, courtesy of the hard working people of InMotion Physical Therapy. I don’t know how they did it, but Dr. Barr says to use it while I can; it’s a rare gift to get more. I start tomorrow. I’m taking my calendars through January so I can set up my appointments. I’m still going to need 4 sessions a week. And the North Landing bridge just closed for a couple of months so I’ll be going the “long way” around.
Most of the water has dried up around here in our little neck of the woods. But I would not drive up to see me any time soon. The driveway sucks a lot. We always seem to have the dirtiest car in the parking lots these days! Wonder why?!
Well, I gotta get ready for choir in a bit. Guess we’ll eat our other roast beef sandwiches we brought home. I love it when these places have deals.
