The End of 2009

Just when I finally got used to writing 2009 now I have to start writing 2010. Hopefully this new year will be even better than last year. The kids are now both settled down in their own homes, Hubster is formally retired (I keep thinking everyday is Saturday because nobody is going to work). Mom and Dad are doing well – you have only to visit any nursing home to see the difference between “them” and the Doziers! The younger Doziers are also doing well. Our whole family is pretty tight!

All the "works in progress" are progressing nicely, thank you. Online experiments and trials are just beginning. I've created a My Countrylane Ning that's now boasting 3 members; at least it's growing and not just me. I will probably close my regular website since everyone was going to the blog anyway.
My stores have done well, although I'm hoping that LadieAnn Toboggans Plus will pick up now that cold weather is socked in everywhere. The Eccentric Thrifter did very well for an online thrift store.
All the projects that have been put off for lack of time will now have time; even that little sailboat may finally go somewhere, even if it’s just close by!

The two extra bedrooms are being turned into offices and a guest suite will go up in the building (where my current office is now). And the dining room may not escape the creative flow for much longer, as we’re tired of having prime real estate going to waste except for one day of the year.
All in all, a good year – I look forward to the next being even better!
