It’s coming together

Finally I am starting to see daylight again. The long drive to the therapy sessions will be finished on Tuesday (unless they somehow get more visits); the Christmas tree is finally totally assembled, although not completely decorated (not even close); everything except for a small bookshelf of music has been taken out of the dining room.

I’m going to get my epidural on Wednesday; I have to get blood work done for that on Monday and hopefully this time it will be ok – I have taken nothing but my blood pressure medicine for a week now. Howbeit, I thought the meatball subs would kill me last night since it gave me heartburn very badly and I had to sleep sitting upright almost all night…but I would NOT take anything for it.

My primary care doctor is moving to their newly built facility. I think I may be his first patient there since I have an appointment on the same day at 8:30am. Just a follow-up on all the vertigo and therapy, etc that I’ve been doing in the last few months.

We went to the early service at church today. I must say, it was the absolutely best I’ve ever heard the praise team sing. Holly and Cheryl each had solos. The group did not use a voice over tape. It was beautiful. I could even hear Mike’s harmony (he usually sings very softly)! The congregation sang Christmas carols and the Christmas tree is the best I’ve seen in a long time, having 1 red ornament under the angel, symbolizing Christ’s shed blood.

The house is still in chaos for the most part. Since we’ve moved a lot of stuff around we can’t find anything we’re looking for (hence the lost items). We’re going through things and hope to take a bunch of stuff to the thrift store this week. Yes, I know – that’s a switch, huh?!

We have almost all the Christmas presents bought, now it’s on to wrapping and getting the cards done. Dan’s like, “we have a week!” Right, since he’s not doing it!

Oh well, could be worse. I could be sick or in a wheelchair, I could be dead. I’m on this side of the ground so it’s ALL GOOD!
