We went with the flow last night and, being tired, cut the light off and went to sleep about 7:30. I know – we’re pretty lame. But that meant we could get up early and get a few things done.
We bought ourselves a Toastmaster Belgium Waffle Maker yesterday at the thrift store. Looks like new and came with all the paperwork. We were going to have (no, really?) waffles this morning but opted for the steak and eggs we’d promised ourselves.
While waiting for HIM to get up this morning I deleted the Ning I had set up a few weeks ago, figuring there is no need to wait a month to see what happens. Although I loved so many features about the site and the ease of set-up it does no good to have a site if no one participates. Thanks to Mom and Tammy for backing me up!
I've added the photos of Daddy's 84th birthday celebration to the sidebar (right). Friends and family came for a festive evening during last Friday's Happy Hour. He got lots of gifts and I must say I think he liked my little orange hat I made for him.
I must say moving the rooms around is going extremely well. Most of the stuff from the building office is now in the front bedroom, which will be cleared of it's last former remnants today. We quickly moved all the items off another shelving unit this morning and moved the unit indoors before breakfast.
Kitty is being spoiled again, but he’s being a very good boy when we let him inside to warm up. He’s half-asleep with his favorite toy in the photo.
And we're waiting to see if it snows today.
