We’ve talked about it for quite some time now. I’ve thought about doing it for even longer. So now I’ve finally jumped the broom and hit the Enter button.
Today I made my first online KIVA loan. It was only $50, not much to us in the US with so much around us just getting tossed like garbage. But in this person’s world it can make such a difference. The process was so much easier than I thought it would be. I paid through my PayPal account.
I tend to think that women clients, are really serious about doing this and repayment will probably be better. Of course there is always risks involved with any dealings these days, no matter where you go.
Out of 14 lenders for this loan, I am the 6th one from the US. It makes me feel proud to see my photo on the page.
