Small Things

I guess lately I’m doing well with small projects. I’ve been sitting in doctor offices with my Mom, so I don’t want to haul around a lot because I help steady her when she walks.

The X-Factor bag I won earlier has been wonderful. It has a lot of room inside for projects, with 2 interior pockets and a large exterior pocket. I don’t usually take a purse when I go with Mom, so the X-Factor is perfect for taking what I need.

I have been grabbing fist sized balls of cotton leftover from making dishcloths...Too much to throw away, not enough to do anything with. With my trusty Afghan Hook I’ve been making mini wash cloths for face washing. Mom loves them and says they’re just the right size. They’ve been running about as big as a normal square potholder. The ribbing on one side is great for scrubbing your face and the opposite smooth side  is good for putting on moisturizer or night cream. Then throw them in the washer or dishwasher.
