I has a cold

Me, I never get a cold. Except when I run out of Vitamin C. Dang it all, I ran out and now in addition to Vitamin C I am on an antibiotic. Went to visit my favorite doctor yesterday because my throat is so scratchy. It feels like a piece of popcorn scraping up and down when I swallow. I don't have the runny nose mess, that's good, but swallowing is something I find precious now. Hopefully it won't last too much longer. I'm staying away from folks as much as possible and plying Dan with Vit C.

Melissa reports that Rob has finally made it back in one piece from China. She says he's still on China time and feeling the effects of jet-lag, but I'm sure he will be mended soon. Make him chicken soup - it couldn't hurt! smile_wink

I'm working longer hours right now to make up for a couple of days that I either left early or didn't go, like for that big ol' snowstorm that never came. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of getting paid if I don't work, no vacation, no holidays. It sucks, but as long as I'm getting those quarters in I don't mind. It won't be forever.

Today I had lots to do since I wasn't there Tuesday or Wednesday (my normal day off and this week a doc appt). But I was totally caught up with everything within 45 minutes. Afterwards, I crocheted while I waited for Internet pages to load. You really can't complain when you get paid to do so little. When I say "lots to do" keep in mind, it's a comparative thing.

Mom has apparently started her spring cleaning and is giving me old items that she no longer wants. I can either keep if desired or try them on eBay. So I guess researching a couple of old cameras is in my future.
