Mid-January Already!

Where has the time gone? Seems like only yesterday we were awaiting Christmas!

Since my last post we celebrated Lindsey's 25th birthday, which is actually today! To think that 25 years ago in the middle of the night it was total chaos! Yes, she was born at home, unwilling to wait a moment longer to start making her mark on the world. And today she's still, like Frank Sinatra would say, doing it her way.
Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEARIE! Enjoy your youth while you can!

Anyway, she came for a special pizza lunch on Sunday; Melissa had come down, and the 4 of us had a Danny Special Piled High Pizza before the rest of the family came over to help celebrate. She thoroughly enjoyed her gifts and cards, savoring the moment for each one.

We had a Chocolate Boston Cream Cake with a cherry on top decorated with Happy Birthday Lindsey in yellow icing (a strange combo, but was what the decorator had at Farm Fresh at the time). A stand-out to say the least! And she liked it, putting her own candles on in the "correct order." I'll be putting more photos on Countrylane soon.
Speaking of Countrylane, I think I'm going to revamp that site, not liking the navigation bar getting so long, so watch for changes there.
