I'm at work right now. Finally, everyone left. I've been able to eat my lunch in peace and go online for a while. My boss from India is here in the US doing taxes. Everything is in organized chaos. I have been trying to look busy and have been working on moving the 2008 papers into storage boxes, making new folders for 2009 and shuffling things around in slow motion. We usually watch TV or play on the computer until noon each day. All of our customers are on the West Coast so they don't start business until afternoon our time.
Unfortunately I'm in the same room that the boss is, so I've been trying to be quiet with my shuffling. My chair has made my back hurt something fierce, along with reaching into a top file drawer. It reminds me of why I can only do a part time job in the first place. Bummer. I'd been thinking about looking for something else a little more exciting once I am sure I've made my social security quarters for the year. Now, I don't know....we'll see how things go.
