So I got an early start, thinking I'd get some quiet time, but apparently Danny hadn't gone back to sleep either. Suddenly, in virtually the middle of the night, we were up and the darkness of day was upon us.
We got a few things done. Today one of my Hawaiian shirts was featured on the front page of Addoway as the Deal of the Day. I blogged and posted the news and when Dan had sufficient coffee in him, together we started listing a few of the remaining 100 shirts online. You certainly can't sell them if you don't list them.
About mid-morning we got a call from Mom telling us that Bro had bagged a COYOTE! Yes, we wanted to see and enjoy the Kodak moment.
The story goes that someone had spotted the large coyote heading into the thicket and dogs were called in. So the team swiftly took out the offender, who would surely be killing the ducks and chickens before too long.
Abby went with us and for the most part she was hoovering the shop floor of leftovers after last night's Happy Hour. I guess her short stature made it hard to see up. But after she got out in the yard far enough she finally caught sight and smell of the coyote and boy! she didn't like it one bit!

When I went over to get Mom from the house so she could come see too, I found out we were also headed out for her hair cut. It didn't take long, but when we got back we headed back to the shop for a grilled burger. That's when we found out the electricity was out.
After I finally got home again Danny and Abby and I sat in the sunshine and I was able to read some more of that book we started last summer (this is the longest book I've ever read through lack of consistent reading time). After the sunshine and wind Abby and I took a short nap. Eventually the electric was fixed, life went back to normal and now, at 6pm I'm surely ready for drinkypoo and pjs, Antiques Roadshow, and British Comedies. Wonder how far I'll get before crashing tonight?
