They'd announced a good while ago at church that they wanted to get a group together to crochet hats for donation. Well, that's right up my alley. After not hearing more about it for some time I inquired, but still nothing definitive was going on. Later, the lady in charge was moving and obviously occupied with other things so I figured it might be a long time before a group ever got off the ground.
Yesterday after church, another lady asked if I'd help with the crochet group. Of course I will! What fun we'll have. And could I teach those who don't know how? Sure can. If I can do it anyone can!  And if we mess up we'll fix that too!
I'm so excited now to get started. I posted on the church's Facebook page that we're looking for crochet people. Once we find out who's involved and when they can meet we can really get things started! I do hope we have a good turn-out for this. You don't have to be a church member to participate. You don't have to know how to crochet - we'll show you! This is a skill that will last a lifetime and can be passed on to future generations. It's also a good way to sit a spell and just relax.
