By George, I could! This one is a different though. I made this one using a different skill-set I found in the book, "Learn to Loom Knit" from Leisure Arts. (When I bought this I thought, "Why?" since I've been loom-knitting for a couple of years now, but a quick glance showed me there were some simple steps I could take to change the look of what I was creating).
I did my preliminary E-wrap and after getting my base line set up I then used an alternating E-wrap with a simple straight line of yarn laying on the outside of the loom for my second row. I pull the back over the front as usual.
Now if you look back at the red beanie you'll notice a section near the top that dents in. I'm not exactly sure what I did right or wrong. I was in a doctor's waiting room at that time and I suddenly had to pack up to leave. I am pretty sure, but not positive, that I didn't not alternate my E-Wrap lines with the Straight Lines here. I really like the novelty of this and, in person, the hat looks great with this little feature.
Below, the top photo below shows the inside view of this section. The bottom photo shows the outside view.
Guess I'll have to be looking in my little book to see if I can find out what I did. Surely someone else has done this before me!
