It didn't take too long to hear back (surprise). After changing all my item titles down to the nub, after editing the hell out of my item descriptions to the point of uninformative recognition the head masters write to tell me that I had forgotten to put my name, address, phone and email address on my website itself.OMG - it was a total oversight in my zest to get everything up and running. It had been on the To-Do list the whole time. Now why didn't they just say that in the beginning instead of making me read all their runaround crapola about transparency and editing my data feed down to practically nothing?!
But that's how our Beloved Google works these days. Stomp on small business as much as you can because you can and in every way you can. Great.
So everything is fixed, data feeds are acceptable and life is rosy again. Now if I could just get them to stop sending me double email notices on everything...
On another note: I have never had good feelings about Etsy when I opened a hat store on Sept 16. So when Etsy decided to bill me for the month on Oct. 1, a mere 2 weeks later, I really had 2nd thoughts. There's no way I'm going to start getting screwed by them too! Then when I got the email from them about their new rules it was enough. I've got a few items on Zibbet now simply because they imported from Etsy so it was easy. I also got an email from Zibbet about Etsy's announcement which actually made me feel good about my decision to leave the one & test the other (Homey Crochet). But really my hopes lie in my own store, now on Google again, LadieAnn Toboggans Plus.
