Beautiful Blues

Here is the second Covered With Love blanket created by members of the BBC Crochet Club. It measures 58 x 58 inches across the middle. Most blocks were fairly uniform using a J hook with a stitch adaptation based on Meladora's Creations V-Stitch scarf video. I'd told members once they got the hang of it, they'd love this stitch... It's now their favorite stitch!

Our first Covered With Love blanket was a bit more of challenge and had more of that 'folksy' feel to it, but was filled with love none the less. Our group has enjoyed putting their hearts into something special for special people in our church's life who no longer get out much.

Now that the blanket is complete we are moving on to making hats for cancer patients and (a new project) for the homeless in our area. Winter's coming and we want them to be ready!
