I have spent years trying to help anyone who reached out to me, shared my information readily. But this is beyond fairness. At least give credit when you use someone's property! Text information is usually public knowledge, info found in census, obits, etc. But Photos? Really? You want to steal photos?
I guess I'll never have to worry about putting my files on Ancestry since there are several people who already have them on there, including my mistakes, so I know they have been copied practically word for word.
I have thought about doing this for a long time, and never could quite bring myself to do it. But there's nothing like a little plagiarism to motivate a call to action. So I will be taking my website down. Anyone who needs to talk about genealogy can still get me at genthreads@cox.net
