This week is just about over, thank goodness! Monday I went to see the doctor who changed my BP pills for something a little less debilitating AND put my right arm in a sling. We're thinking "torn rotator cuff." I'm thinking what else can go wrong.
So I didn't get to go to work on Tuesday and my trainer left Wednesday for a week's vacation. That means I didn't work all week. Not a good way to begin a new job. But she seemed understanding and I've had a week to rest my arm some. By next Tuesday when I go in at 10am I should be able to do some computer stuff; I mean I am doing some now.
Then the MRI was originally scheduled for 12:30 Tuesday, so I had to get everyone involved in changing it so I wouldn't miss work again. How could I go in at 10 and leave in time to be at the hospital by 12, a half hour before the appointment? Well, guess when the new appointment is? 10pm Friday night. I've told Danny to plan a date so I guess we'll do a late supper and hang out at the hospital for a while. What a great evening. But at least I won't miss work!
Lindsey was home today since she's been coughing a lot and didn't want to keep coughing at work. We ended up going to Salvation Army at Strawbridge. She'd never been before and I wanted her to look at some of the neat furniture they have there. She's beginning to plan for when she moves to Big Mama's old house.
Us leaving left Danny alone to work in his shop. He wasn't having a good day today and seemed "easily irritated" so it was a good thing for us to go away. Even after we came back he's still a bit frustrated that everything he touches seems to turn you know. So we're being gentle this evening.
So the final count is that my arm hurts and still tingles, my ankles swell, my hips crack, my head is a continuous headache from the sling around my neck. But the Good Lord doesn't add anything to us that we can't handle with His help. I'm relying on that thought.
