Beautiful Day

I'm doing very well with my shoulder. It still hurts an awful lot when I move it. I hate to move it but I must if I'm going to get all my motion back. I exercise and cry while watching tv. I'll get there though.

Danny's parents came by today. They've been to Canada, back to Colorado, then flew out here, got a rental car and headed south to visit Betty's son who is now in a wheelchair. From there they've made a stop over to see us and hopefully will be at Happy Hour this week. Saturday they go back north, Richmond to DC, then up to Baltimore or Boston, where they will take a day cruise on a restored Liberty Ship. Claude served in the Merchant Marines and it will definately be a trip down memory lane for him. He says he's really looking forward to it.

While Dan had show and tell with his dad Betty and I sat on the deck and watched the butterflies and hummingbirds scrambling around. I also showed Betty Melissa's photos from Kenya posted online. Betty and Claude had thought about going to Kenya this year and may go next year. Betty loved the pictures and Melissa's captions.

We had a delightful visit and after the guys came back from the shop and inquired if we were hungry we all headed over to Southland for some real BBQ before they left the BBQ area. It's been a beautiful day. The only thing that could have been better would have been to avoid that huge ice pack I have to wear every so often. Man, is that thing cold!? Can't use much padding because they want it cold. Their wish is my command!

Guess What? Tomorrow will be better than today! Hope your's is too!
