My part time job is going well. I'm working 10-2 each day. Mostly I just sit and wait for something to happen. When it does then I make entries into a paper ledger and on the computer (which is still using dial-up), and file everything away when I'm done. Today I must have worked all together 30 minutes. After my boss came back from lunch she read some of her junk mail out loud. You know the kind of mail: forward in 10 minutes and see what pops out of your screen, and lots of twinkling, moving, singing, talking caricatures of old ladies and babies. Usually the dial-up prevents much singing and talking. I guess that could be a good thing. (Please don't send me any! They have to be really exceptional for me to forward, so if you ever get a forward from me you might want to read it).
If you checked the Garden Place blog then you already know that Danny surprised me with a red Tuberous Begonia yesterday. It's absolutely beautiful and was a total surprise. See the photo over there.
I've been comparing photo programs lately. Anyone using Picaso or Windows Live Photo Gallery? I've also reinstalled Studioline PhotoBasic 3 for another look. One problem with that is that you need to reset your monitor to 1024 x 768. That's like way weird on my widescreen. But that's really just a minor thing.
That's about it for today. I'm going to see if Dan wants to go to Oak Grove choir practice later. I miss singing.
