I’m Too Full

Mom and Danny love to eat Chinese. Needless to say, when I go out with either of them odds are that they will choose Chinese for lunch. I think I’ve OD’d on Chinese this week. Last week I went off with Mom and we stopped at that wonderful No. 1 Chinese Buffet at the Walmart shopping center. We ate too much but figured we could make it home before we exploded. We made it and put our comfort clothes on and vegged for a while. Nice.

Yesterday I hadn’t planned to go anywhere except to take a scrapbook back that I’d borrowed. Danny came in saying he needed to go check on parts so we decided to go together. I didn’t know it would eventually include lunch. While he did his parts I sat in the truck and crocheted. I guess with the time change we ended up hungry; he hadn’t had breakfast, so suggested we catch lunch before returning home. You guessed it – Chinese buffet – here we come (again)! Same place! I must admit they have really good food there and a wide variety to select. It’s hard not to get happy when you’re carrying around an empty plate and all that food is practically begging. I know, too much again. We made it home in time before we exploded!

deer 001Today I went with Mom to price shop her prescriptions at a couple of other stores. It was a waste of time, but at least now we know. Walmart has the best prices for prescriptions. Afterwards we had an early lunch on the way home. Nope, we tested the lunch menu at SeaCrest and had spaghetti & chicken parmesan. She loved it; I thought it was ok, but Danny’s wonderful spaghetti sauce has spoiled me. His is actually the best. deerfeet

We stopped by the hunt club on the way back. The guys were “doing lunch.” Dad had wanted me to take pictures of some deer feet. Austin got one that had 8 feet. I reckon a twin never quite made it, except for those feet. Weird!  Should’ve had those things out for Halloween!!

And I thought it was sweet when Dad was helping Mom back to the car. I told them ‘in or out’ of the sun but they just grinned at each other. Cute couple, don’t you think?!deer 004
