Sucks to be Us

This has been a terrible week. We have both had colds. I think I put a curse on myself when just last week I was telling Danny I had only been sick once since my hip surgeries. And that was when I had run out of Vitamin C and he’d forgotten to pick any up at the store. Well, since I’ve been getting up early and trying not to wake him, I have been forgetting to take my Vitamin C and Voila! I’m sick.

On Wednesday I had my follow-up after the last epidural. It would have been a nice day to not go anywhere, especially anywhere cold, wet and snowy. But I wasn’t as bad as I am now so we made a run for it. The traffic lights were blowing hard as we neared our destination. On the way back wasn’t any better as you can tell by the roads. The funny thing is that it wasn’t snowing at home. The flurries we’d left were gone.

I kept my camera in my hand and took some interesting pictures, even if they weren’t the most unique. It’s hard taking pictures from a moving car, but I enjoy trying.

Dan made a lovely pot of chicken tortellini soup last night. He put extra “tort” in for me; they’re so good and it all has such a wonderful flavor. We’ve been eating all kinds of chicken soup. It’s good for a cold, right?!
