Here, Don holds up the blanket. It's actually bigger than I thought it would be. He's a big tall guy and you can see he would have no trouble cuddling up on the couch for a winter's nap with this thing! (Don't ask me what that circle is at the bottom of the picture. If you watch any of those ghost shows it could be some crazy spook, I guess).
I ended up having 99 rows in it, each taking about 15 minutes to do. That adds up to about 25 hours not counting all the screwups along the way (like the 3 times I started over). The last black yarn was a tad off in color from the rest, but too bad, so sad...it's done now.
A masterpiece, if I do say so myself. This one was a labor of love for sure, but it was also a doozy holding in your lap and trying to keep it off the floor. Now, I can finally move on to some smaller and "easier to hold and work on" project.
