I keep putting off, and putting off finishing my last scarf. All I need to do now is add the fringe on both ends. It's not that I'm lazy. I'm just not sure what to use for winding it, like a big book or something.
The weather is turning nice too; it's hard to make myself settle down in one spot with hot yarn on top of me now. There's a million things that are approaching "doing time" like we worked in the greenhouse yesterday. Gosh, it had been so long! I had to repot my palm tree (the first one I've never killed). By the time I got finished doing that I was so tired with my back & hips screaming at me.
I thought if I wrote about needing to finish the scarf I might be inspired (or shamed) into making it a priority. Yes, by golly! I'm going to do it! I'm going to do it this weekend, come hell or high water! Wait! We have had a lot of water this winter; and it's supposed to rain again, I think.
Anyway, my new goal is to do it this weekend. Watch for a follow-up post that I've done it by Tuesday. I'm marking the calendar right now, so I won't forget!!
