Cleanliness is Next to Godliness

We stopped by our local country store this morning to grab a pack of crackers and a tea (my vitamins I'd gulped weren't going down too well). The owner happened to come out and talk with me as I waited in the car for Hubster. You may remember quite a while back I'd posted that she was contemplating fixing up the little building beside the store for a mini crafts store (Opportunity Knocks)

The Blackwater Trading Post, a pen and ink drawing by local artist and fellow genealogist, William Rylance.

I thought she'd forgotten about it. I may have been wrong. She still wants to do it. She's had to deal with failing health parents over the last couple of years which delayed everything. But the idea may be getting close to the top of the To Do list yet!

She asked me if I was still crocheting and if I had any handmade wash clothes or potholders...you know the kind. Why YES INDEEDY!  And if she needed more, well, I think I could handle a small project or two like those sitting on my lap in the summer months! SO, I may be doing some crocheting after all!
