Roof Day

They got here at 7am. Good thing we're early risers. It would have sucked to have been asleep and hear their delicate steps above! NOT! They are roofers and are doing what they do best - making lots of noise and demolishing our old shingles. Here's the latest:

Looks like our 20 year old roof has served it's purpose well over the years, but we now have a leak over the garage and a dip in the shingles tipped us off. With all the rain we've had this season we are very blessed that it was not over the main house. Although we have noticed a stain has begun to appear between the kitchen and living room. Our timing is good. Hurricane season is just starting and we're bound to get a good old nor'easter before long.
