You don't really get a good idea of how much the trees and bushes have grown until you put it in perspective. Here, Danny is walking back from the mailbox. I was surprised how small he was compared to the landscape. The bordering Rose of Sharon bushes are almost as tall as I am (but hello, being short, that might not be saying a whole lot)!
I keep waiting for all those little pink and white blossoms to show up on those small Rose of Sharon plants, but so far nothing. My two larger plants in the back yard have been jammin' as you can see from this view of the top of one! Maybe, with the recent rain, my view of the driveway will be filled with color the next time I look outside!
