Patio Crack Gardening

I love my little raised bed and patio area in front of the greenhouse. Last year a celosia plant came up between the cracks of the patio blocks. It was so cool. ( read Just a Bump). I never expected there to be more this season, but so many came up I had to pull some out so I could walk!

I love the Knockout Roses. The one on the left totally caught up with the right side after we moved it over a bit and pruned the hell out of it last year.

Walking straight off the deck into the ‘zone’ you see that those little celosia are just about everywhere. The ones in the lava rock border at least look like they were placed there!


This morning while eating breakfast on the deck we were amazed at how much life was stirring in the Rose of Sharon. It is even more gorgeous than it was last week.
