- The trees are starting to turn.
- The weather was perfect.
- We started out with a party (Happy Hour).
- Melissa flew in from FL.
- Saturday was Dan's birthday.
- Saturday was our 20th anniversary.
- Abby, who is fearful of strangers, was better with Melissa this time than last time.
- Melissa got to see Abby and Lucy play together (so funny).
- Lucy's "parents" came over for a spontaneous turkey burger and sweet potato fries supper on Saturday night.
- Sunday was gorgeous and started with egg and bacon sandwiches.
- The trip to the Newport News airport was beautiful (the leaves are ahead of ours up there).
- Danny and I had our anniversary luncheon at the nice seafood restaurant by the James River Bridge, where we watched the boats come in and the ducks swim by as we ate on the deck.
- By the time we got home again Abby was thrilled to see us (it's always nice to be needed).
- And this morning's weigh-in showed I lost weight instead of gaining from all the weekend eating!
Yep, a good and lovely weekend!
