Between holidays let's all get healthy

We're in the mid-section, past Thanksgiving and not quite Christmas. What a mess! I mean, no stress or nothing You actually feel like you've gotten through a storm just getting the turkey done; now it's rush, rush, rush.

Now add to this the fact that Mom has been very sick since before Thanksgiving. The nebulizer that they put her on has made her sicker and now they say she should never have been put on it. It makes me so mad. She says she's getting better and I'm sure as the meds get out of her system that she will be a little better. But she's lost some weight and feels so tired all the time.

A week ago I asked her if anyone had suggested she go see the lung specialist that she'd seen months ago. Now they decide, hey, that's a good idea, now that it's 3 weeks later. She's got to have a cardiopulmonary stress test and can't get in until 1/16. In the meantime she does the best she can.

Dad has been fighting a terrible sinus infection and has felt like crap for days. He's doing his best to keep up with Mom, helping her walk because of all the dizziness she has, all while he's feeling bad. Bro has had a bad cold as well, so he hasn't be able to go over and help any or visit. He's perking up again now and was able to go over this week again.

I'm staying healthy and taking my vitamin C which I swear by, having only gotten sick 1 time since I started taking it in 2000. That was when I ran out and Dan forgot to pick some up when he stopped by the store. By the time I got some, I was sick.

No, for me it's more like I fall apart, hips, shoulders, back, hopefully not the knees. That's all I have left.
Bless LaVerne. She helped Dad get their Christmas stuff out of the attic. Mom loves Christmas and has a ton of decorations. I'm sure LaVerne will be putting up the tree under Mom's watchful eye. Mom loves Christmas and often tells us how they didn't have much when she was growing up because of the large size of their family and the depression. So, she milks it for all she's worth now. I guess seeing the decorations will make her feel better too.
