I'm too full. We just ate spaghetti with spinach salad. I'm not sure if it was an early supper or a very late lunch. But we're both full and it's not even 6pm.
I opened a new store today. Yeah, I know, "What another one?" This one is at a new site called Art Fire. It's just for handmade items. Boy, are there some incredibly talented people out there! I got brave and put some of my crocheted hats on there. I did my homework and the site gets hits, so maybe it will be a good thing for me too.
I also started another blog site for my hats called "LadieAnn Hats." Basically the same thing only this is totally private; I made it link up with the ArtFire store so I will sell only in one place. I tried to put my own PayPal buy buttons on there. Some worked and some didn't. The box that came up said it was an outdated link. I don't think so, hello? I just got it from PayPal. Anyway, I finally said the hell with it and linked up to the new site for selling. That way I can offer Google Checkout too.
In case anyone has been wondering where the Ladie Ann came from there was a child named Ladie Ann who didn't live very long at all; she would have been a sister of Big Mama's mother. There were 4 children that died in all, leaving Mary Love, (Big Mama's mother), an only child. This daughter was born between census years and never even appeared in any official document. She is only listed in the antique family Bible. Without that no one would even know she had existed.
I use the Ladie Ann to keep her memory alive for a while. I guess we're all doomed to dissolve into oblivion. I guess we better get cracking if we're going to make any kind of mark on this world, hopefully to make it better while we're here as well as long after.
Well, I'm going to go in the house and make my world better right now! I'm going to preheat my bed, put my pjs on, work on that new hat I'm making and watch some TV. It's already getting mighty cold outside and walking across that deck is not a good thing to do in the dark. I bid you Good Night!
