My Day Off

Wednesday was my day off. I had a quick bowl of very dry oatmeal for breakfast (I was in the building so I didn't fix it) while checking my email.

Danny left for his dental appointment with Dr. Hart, driving the Fiero instead of the Miata. Last night, when Ronnie came by to work on the furnace, Dan moved the car outside and didn't put it back in the garage when they were finished. Since we haven't driven it much lately, it was weak in the battery and the cold finished it off over night. Dan will have to put the jumpers on it later.

I went to the Riddicks to fix their printer. I feel pretty good too, since they'd had several folks look at it to see why it wouldn't print. But I solved the problem. I unchecked the "pause printing" button. (DUH!) and then printed some lyrics for the singers.

Seeing Dan was still out, I stopped by Mom and Dad's on my way back home. They were both sitting back reading the papers; I stayed almost an hour, just chatting.

It was noon before we got to leave on our errands run. We stopped by Penney's to make a return, visited (only) 2 thrift stores, had lunch at Olive Garden, and got groceries before getting back home! I was totally surprised at OG. We couldn't think of where we wanted to go, so Dan suggested soup and salad over there. Cool! We also shared an appetizer 3-some. We keep cutting back every time we go -- next time we'll nix the soup. We were still stuffed!

I picked up some pajamas separates (a couple of tops and pants) and Dan found an all weather coat for use on the sailboat. Keep on, and the sailboat will be full of coats

When Ronnie stopped by the other night, he helped Dan move my elliptical into the house. I used it for only 2 minutes Wed. morning and already I feel a problem in my hip. I am sooo bummed!!!  This morning I changed the setting down to 5 from 11 and used it for 2.5 minutes. If I noticed it more then I'll have to get rid of it.

This so sucks!   That's why I quit the gym; I just can't do those things. I was hoping the elliptical at home would be ok.
Well, it's off to work again. Have a good one! ~ LJ
