Warming up for a change

I'm ready for warm weather, and I'm ready for some change in my life. Kitty has been enjoying the cold weather, that's for sure. I think we may have  created a monster!Kitty 002

Here he is, laying on his new old navy blue cushion in his very favorite place on earth - our (former) dining room! When it started getting too far below freezing we brought our beagle ( who you remember experienced seizures not too long ago) into the garage. To avoid, ahem, conflict, we brought Kitty inside the house. He is incredibly good, enjoying his new place in society as if he were King Tut's personal cat! Egyptians worshiped their cats, I've heard. He sleeps almost all the time and with his recycled blue kitchen table cushions now on the floor in front of the buffet, he awaits the sun every morning. Then he sleeps until the sun moves; then he moves, and so on, and so on. So pretty much he sleeps all day. I actually left him in the house when I went to work the other day. Dan had an appointment and was coming back soon. Dan said Kitty was in the same position as when we'd left him.

Moving along, I tried a new web site this week, but found out that they were incredibly picky about things, always having to "approve" every little detail. After 3 days I left. Just can't take it. There are better sites, one is still my Art Fire, where I have all my crocheted items now.

I've reopened my Bonanzle store, listing a few items that I just don't have a lot of time to deal with right now. Bonanzle is so quick to list something. So I'm putting some of my extra inventory on there. I'm sure I'll shuffle things around again before long.

Dan's getting frustrated with all his doctor appointments. Dr. Barr had suggested that his recurring back pain might be coming from the gallbladder, so he's getting that scanned soon. Then there's the follow-up with the Cardiologist. His problems in that were from the high blood pressure, which is now gone. So I'm hoping the good docs will get it together and give Dan a good bill of health. (secretly, I say "welcome to my world!"
