I just made another sale at SuperStuff, a big old book Lindsey left for me to see if I could make go away. Yee-haw! It's a goner!
I'm working tomorrow afternoon instead of the morning. Boss-Lady is going to go help her sister finish moving her parents into an assisted living place. And I'm sure, start her weekend as early as possible. That's cool. I'll get some more crocheting done and watch a little TV while waiting for the dial-up computer to log on.
Our electricity was out in the morning on both yesterday and today. Today wasn't so bad, but the day before was down in the teens. You don't miss what you have until it's gone. But why is it so easy to forget to appreciate things after they are back? This applies to lots of things!
I have some clothes I want to put online. I've been putting it off for too long. I hate listing clothes - all that measuring. The last time I sold a coat that measuring came in pretty handy, though. The customer was upset because it didn't fit and I reminded her that I just put the measurements on there, I don't make the decision to buy it! She agreed and life went on (luckily - I hate to argue about stuff like that).
My orders for 15x15x4 boxes and #5 mailing envelopes arrived this week. I'm stoked about that; I'd run out of my basic sizes. Now I'm in good shape for a while. I did upgrade from what I'd bought before on the envelopes. So often I'd have an item and the #4 was just a tad too small.
I removed a site yesterday after reloading it all on the Blogger site. Thrift Store Lover is the replacement for Eccentric Thrifter, with all the same info. Today I find out that the Eccentric Thrifter site had been featured on TBD!
TBD is like MySpace only for older people. It's about sharing life experiencesI don't frequent it too much, which is why I didn't realize my blog was on their list. So I wrote them with the new address. Not sure if they'll fix it or delete it. Oh, well, fame is so fleeting!
