Motor-Homers?

We've been talking about it for a while; we've been reading online and trying to educate ourselves. We don't want to make a costly mistake. I'm talking about camping, camper, motor home!

Our budget is raking the bottom of the coals, but there are some nice units out there to be had. Yesterday we did our first field trip to see this 1990 Sun Clipper in Suffolk.

Since we are newbies and just beginning our search we're not jumping on this yet. It's fairly nice, but has the smallest shower I've ever seen! Plus it only has twin beds.We'll keep looking for now.

We may go see this 74 GMC tomorrow. Danny has discovered that GMC, the only car maker to produce motor homes, made them in the 70s. He's all about GMC. There are some super nice ones out there. In fact a lot of vintage 70s and 80s are being sold all the time. Apparently older models are often better than newer ones, built to last and of better quality. I'm not so sure getting older is wise...we will have to do some serious evaluating.

This is very fun though, no matter what happens. I'm just going to sit back, enjoy the ride, and see where it takes us!
