Furry Guards

My fur children have been getting along nicely for the most part lately. Their's is a love-hate relationship. Now that we have our Christmas tree up the children have started to stake their claims.
ABBY: Are you sure it's OK for him to be there? He does look a little like Satan Kitty.
Kitty doesn't seem to have as much problem with sharing as Abby. I'm sure it's because Abby thinks t he whole house is her's (all but my store room). Kitty tolerates this attitude, assuming it's a growing phases. Plus, Kitty must surely think the lower branches of the tree make an excellent scratching post. When he comes into the house he makes a beeline for underneath the tree.
KITTY: Ooh! That feels soooo good! A little more on the left, I think.
I'm not sure how long the bottom of the tree will last, but it was meant to be enjoyed. If dust is a country accent, then a little kitty fur on the lower boughs is trimmings.
