Which Way Is Up?

I told you things have been going up and down a lot. I hardly know which way up is anymore. But there have been a few nice things to happen the last few days.

The first is that Daddy is starting to feel so much better. I think the time of acceptance and acclimation is about over and that feeling of getting back to real, honest-to-goodness living is snapping back in place. Praise the Lord! Who else can it be that deserves honor for this turnaround? I'm sure warm weather will add to the continuing process of getting back to 'normal' for Daddy. Thank you to everyone for uplifting our family at this critical time.

Another cool thing that happened this week is that our neighbors, The Frosts, were able to come to church on Sunday for the first time in 2 years. They have had so many ups and downs in their life with surgeries and fears and all that goes with that. Another big Praise to God for His unwavering mercy and goodness!

Mom's feeling pretty good these days, especially since Daddy is starting to perk up. She enjoys her mentoring at Creeds School each week and loves all the company who have stopped by visiting them recently.

My sister-in-law had a dream come true a couple of days ago when Lucy their American Water Spaniel gave birth to 6 little wiggly puppies. I can't wait to get next door and see them!

We're picking up Melissa on Friday. She's flying in to be here for Unk's birthday. The kids have called my brother Unk for a very long time now. She's also got several big old hugs she's been saving up for Gramps. They were always fishing partners when she was little. It's been hard on both of them to be apart while he went through all these trials.

Lindsey will be out this weekend too...what's a birthday party without all the family! She's enjoying working locally instead of crossing the state to work 4 days each week as she's done for the last 2 years.

My bright side is that I had 11 Eccentric Thrifter sales during the first part of this month. I guess the March winds blew them all just the right way!

Danny doesn't know whether to get outside and enjoy the weather or run and hide. He knows I have some Spring plant moving projects that are just waiting for him!

Enjoy your week! Ours are looking Up these days!
