Rip It Out

I guess you could say the knitting hit my last nerve the other day. So I ripped it all out and said the heck with it. This is what I'm working on now, and I must say my new scarf is now about 18 inches long already.

Here are my very beginning stitches. Doing it back and forth this way allows it to feed together from both sides at once, forming a double thick scarf. I'm using two yarns, a light and dark lavender.

I've heard that lavender looks terrific on anybody, any skin tones, hair color, eyes, etc. Plus it's one of my favorite colors.
