Here's the short form of an update: I'm still plugging away on my knitted lavender scarf. The multi-colored brown and tan has been pulled out to live again in another life form. It was getting nowhere fast.
The last time we went to the dentist the receptionist saw me working on a washcloth (those projects go everywhere) and pulled out her beautiful crocheted ruffled scarf she was working on. Mom just loved it and before we left I had a copy of the instruction. Mom has already put in her order for a scarf like that for a Christmas gift. I'm glad she's giving me plenty of notice on this...I don't do patterns well at all! Yeah, I needed another project to start now. But it's all good. I'm intrigued by the thought that I just may be able to pull this one off!
Since crochet hats is such a seasonal thing I've been thinking about doing a brochure/catalog of them. Then, instead of just giving out my card with my site address, I can give them a paper showcase. What do ya think?
