Colors

I have been thinking about those two skeins of yarn I recently purchased...the yellow and green ones. I don't use those colors very often, but I think I've come up with an answer for how to use them.

I thought back to when my daughter was oohing and ahh-ing over a crochet hat I made for her in the burgundy and orange Virginia Tech colors. At the time she suggested that I should make hats in college colors.

I searched on "team colors yellow green" and discovered that some wonderful person has put together a list of college colors. It's a great resource for anyone who has ever wondered about colors used in higher education.

So if I decide to use both skeins of yarn in one piece my choices would be University of Alaska, Arkansas Tech University, Colorado State University, University of South Florida, North Dakota State University, and the University of Oregon. Those in bold are really yellow; the rest use gold, but could make do with yellow in a pinch. Will have to study the matter some more before I decide.

The plot thickens.
