This new child hat with ear flaps turned out pretty good. On the ties I actually braided each one with 4 sets of double-strands of yarn. They're really good and tight and will be easy to work with when securing the hat on baby's head.
The hat is 9 inches wide x 6 inches high with 3 inch flaps. Ties are 11 inches long.
