It's been quite a while, but recently I bit the bullet and bought a pack of 3 skeins of yarn at the thrift store. Like I really need that like a hole in my head. I already have so much yarn it's ridiculous as you can see in the photo. Those are skeins of yarn laying side-by-side.The hat boxes up top hold some finished items like washcloths and scarves that I've made.
Anyway, I found a plastic bag with 3 skeins in it for $3 and figured "What the heck!"
I really wanted the white and tan variegated one. I've already got a start on a hat using that yarn.
I guess you can't go wrong with white - it goes with anything. The middle one is deep blue. I like blue and in fact, I'm still working on that large afghan in sort of a Williamsburg blue. Maybe this dark one would make a good border? Hey, maybe I'll put both the blue and the white on there for a kick! I'll give it some thought and let you know what happens.
Of course, I'm going to the thrift store again today - you never know - I may find something else too ;)
