I'm still plugging away on my big blue afghan... it's getting there, slowly but surely. I didn't mention the fact that I started a small project at the same time.
This is a small neck scarf I'm making using up some leftover yarn from another project I did. I'm tired of looking that this little wad of lovely deep burgundy. I have no idea how big it will end up when I'm done. I'm fairly certain it won't be big at all.
It's made with the soft fuzzy yarn that I love so much, and as you can see, I'm using the small-size Knifty Knitter loom. This is my travel project because it fits in my bag and on my lap at doctor offices. (Of course, the afghan is too bulky for a field trip).
Depending on how much length I end up with I may connect both ends together and make a loop out of the whole thing. In that case it would just slip over your head, to be tucked inside your coat neckline. I need to just sit down and be done with it... I can't wait to see how it turns out! I'll let you know as soon as I know!
