Toasty Warm

After much self-debate and serious eye-balling the potential Muff I finally got off my butt and fixed it all the way it should have been in the beginning.

It wasn't easy cutting the tightly pulled and knotted gathered ends. I thought for a while that the whole thing was going to come unraveled if I even sneezed. After pulling the gathering thread out I stretched each end, working one at a time. Then I ever-so carefully ran a new thread through the loops.

After both ends were done I pulled both ends together and sewed them up. What a relief to finally get them secured. I rotated the sewn ends to the inside of the thing so I'd have the fuzzy side inside as well as outside. The finished size is 9 inches long x 5 inches wide.

Now when it gets chilly all I have to do is slip my hands in and they're nice and warm. This muff stays in my car and it's nice to not have to keep up with a pair of gloves instead of one fuzzy warm wrapper. It actually turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself!
