Just a Little Catching Up

Life has been pretty good lately. Daddy's meds are working miracles and stress and tension levels have improved for everyone. On Oct. 4 Mom and Dad had their 66th anniversary and on Oct. 8 we celebrated both our own 22nd anniversary and Danny's birthday.

When Melissa came home she and Daddy were able to go fishing again, (in itself another miracle). They had some good luck too.

Lindsey hooked up with us at the big Happy Hour dinner celebration. It's always nice to see her. She lives closer than Missy, but we see less of her... she works in Roanoke a lot.

The weather has been great up until the last few days. Yesterday we awoke to 3.5 inches of water in our rain gauge. The ground is soggy, but there are still beautiful leaves on the trees. They always amaze me, how God can so evenly splatter the colors about.

Danny's back got pulled but he's feeling a little better now - I gave him my regularly scheduled weekly massage yesterday. He should start improving even more.
