We Did It!

These are the crocheted afghan lap rugs the ladies of the Blackwater Baptist Church Crochet Club recently made. We displayed them in the choir loft at church last Sunday. When you think that many of the ladies had little or no crochet experience when we started the group last summer you can see we've come a long way.

Each project helps members develop new skills while improving on old ones. While a few members are still tidying up loose ends (no pun intended) the rest of our gals are now learning to make the frilly Potato Chip scarf. While it looks intimidating, members find that it's very easy, now that they have a few stitches under their belts.

Please note that the pink block blanket front left is the Covered With Love group project, now completed and delivered to its intended recipient.
