La-Ti-Da

There's really not too much to speak of these days. I've been holed up for quite a while now, going back and forth to church a few times a week and that's about it.

Danny finished his therapy on Friday so he's feeling like he's 'free' again. I can't help but worry about him getting too ambitious too quickly. His odds of a 2nd heart attack happening are just too high now. He's puttering around in the attic when he's not browsing eBay. Like we need more crapola in our lives, right?

But we do have some projects that were stopped short when Danny got sick. We need to finish up the last little bit on the deck renovation, paint the front door and shutters, and a few hundred other things. Plus it will soon be gardening time and we had a couple of plants we needed to move while we still can.

Spring cleaning is calling my name in that downsizing bid. I've sold a few old pieces of furniture over winter. I have a linen closet that has twin and full size blankets and we only have California King size beds now, so that needs a good going-through. And I could have a nice bon-fire with nothing but pillows... I'm sick of pillows! Danny didn't get to have his Fall yard sale, so he's started talking about another Spring sale. Yes, Lord, we need that on the list too!

I've been working on my online stores whenever I can get motivated. Google has made it next to impossible to be in search results unless you grease their palm and I absolutely refuse to pay them. So I'm not as into it as I used to be. I've been thinking of just getting rid of most of my store inventory, and downsizing in general. (Maybe some of it  can go into that yard sale that is supposed to happen soon)!

That would make more time to work on getting the church choir activated again. Plus I've been pondering the idea of starting a bell choir. We've now got some children's bells to work with. To me bells are bells and they don't have to be fancy to get some good music from them. I'm excited to get this one started.

The BBC Crochet Club I'm part of has been on a big break over the 'snow' season, but now it's going to warm up and I think all members are ready to get together and start working on some serious yarn projects. Plus I have a couple of things I need to finish up - nothing worse than working on a blanket in the middle of summer, LoL!

Meanwhile, I've been gradually getting back to my genealogy and with that my desk is getting a little bit cleaner as I go through the to-do piles of newspaper clippings, obituaries, and the like. Genealogy is never finished, ya know.

Apparently neither am I so I better go get something done while the sun is shining.
