Making Easter Crosses

So much has happened since my last post. My father passed last month and leading up to that found all my focus on helping my parents care for each other. Since then it's been an emotional roller-coaster of good days and sad days. Though it all my church and the BBC Crochet Club have helped me stay grounded. Thank you all for the prayers and support!

The latest crochet project was Crocheted Crosses. They were given to a local nursing home for distribution on Easter. This was a fast 15-minute project adapted from some patterns found online. We got so carried away that we ended up with 150 instead of just 80. So we were able to provide Crosses for Staff members as well as nursing home residents!

Missing from this group photo is dear sweet Megan who had to work, but you can see (left to right) Sue, me, Susie, Lynn, Pat, Carrie, little Kylie, Beverly, and Jennifer. Kylie is holding a basket full of Crosses!

Here's me and Megan experimenting with our simple Cross pattern. Our Crochet Club loves simple and I couldn't agree more!

Can't wait to start the next project! We meet on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:00pm at church. Anyone can come and we'll even teach you if you don't know how!
