Now I'm doing those tedious drops in the eyes, can't pick up things and lean over, ya-da, ya-da. Once all this mess is done I can finally get some new glasses and life can move on in a brilliant way!
Mom's house is slowly getting done. Her kitchen/den is a total un-inhabitable mess right now, but we all have hopes that the end is in sight. I know it must be driving her nuts by now, everything skewed and misplaced. She needed a spatula while using her toaster over in the living room. Where'd she find it? In the bedroom of course LoL!
We went over to the barn yard the other day and found these big guys. I guess they were waiting for Happy Hour to start!
See the one in the background?
Turtle 1 - I think he was stuck on the wire since he didn't move until I nudged him.
Turtle 2 - make a quick get-away towards the barn.
Hubster's dad finally got back from CO for the last time. They spent most of yesterday moving everything he's kept into his new apartment. (He spent several weeks tossing and packing things). He's not too far from where my MIL is now residing for Alzheimer patients. It's very sad to see him facing life alone now (at 92 years of age). We'll do our best to take care of both of them.
I've been working on making a new church website. The old one is 3 years old, not mobile-friendly (a google requirement now) and tedious to code when updating. The new site is fresher and more up-to-date, is automatically mobile enabled, and has more features to use because of the drag and drop offered by the host. I've used this host for years for my own shirt store and genealogy site. Once I finish moving all the data from the old site I'll redirect the domain names to the new site and let her rip! Requested feedback I've gotten so far has been positive.
