Tax Day Happy Hour

Today was Tax Day for us. Since we're in the midst of a lot of major changes it was interesting to see what happened different from last year. We don't have the girls to claim anymore so it did make a big difference. Next year will be another change as we get in the swing of a different income source. Leaving a job after 30 years is definitely an impacting event!

After we left there we went to Smokey Bones for a nice lunch and, since we were close, we went to a thrift store or two. You never know when a new treasure is just waiting for you to happen by.

Lindsey gets in the evening about 9pm. She called around lunch and told us she'd been sick for 3 days while in GA and even missed a couple of days of class. And of course, she can't wait to get home. It must be miserable to be ill when you're in a hotel. There's no place like home, Auntie Em!

Tonight is Happy Hour. Gary is bringing pizza so that will be a good switch-up. Next Friday we meet at Randy's house. Lynne is having a little birthday party combined with the Happy Hour.

I'm busy getting things loaded onto eBay for this weekend. It's a lot of fun, but it's also a lot of work. I'm trying to come up with some brain storms of new money-making projects. The more I can work from home the better.

I can hardly move this evening just from walking around in 2 stores today! It really is a bummer. I never know if it will be a good physical day or a bad; things are gradually getting worse. In the last 2 weeks I get tingling in my right arm if I sit in certain ways, like leaning forward. This leads me to believe it's a new development in my neck area, which still snaps when I turn my head. Feels like a 2x4 hitting me in the head and the sound is embarrassing.

I guess God will know when too much is reached. He has control even of head snapping and tingles.
