What a busy week! Made even worse because my head hurts so much from my neck? and if it's not my head then my arm gets numb. I can't win. It's very frustrating because there is so much I want to do. We went out this morning and didn't get back until 3pm. We bought some more decorative slabs to go in our front flower bed as well as a little pagoda. I guess we're experimenting. Yesterday we dug the hole for the miniature pool. It's not hardly big enough to dip your foot into, but it'll be fun to hear the water dripping around. Who knows maybe a bird will find it useful!

Speaking of bird, this morning I saw 2 bluebirds using one of the sparrowless boxes that Danny made last year. So now we know they actually work. I also know that the starlings have chewed enough around the other box to fit into the hole and take over the box that was always the "winner" with the bluebirds. The sparrowless boxes don't have holes, they have narrow slits across the top below the roof overhang. Little bluebirds slip right in. Now that we know they work we'll be putting up the other boxes Danny made last year. They've been gathering dust in one of the out buildings.

I went to a job interview Thursday morning. The real positive about this particular company is that it is so close to home. Living as far as we do it's hard to find anything with less than 40 miles round trip. I went there and back in under 28 miles! It's a part time job, but 2 days are full 9 hour days and sometimes longer. I just wonder if I can actually do that much...I have had trouble making it to 6 hours and still come home and have to go to bed.

I need to work enough to get my social security quarters in so I can reapply for disability. Quarters is all I'm lacking because my doctor said I'd definately qualify physically. At the rate I'm falling apart I'm wondering if I can hold out long enough. I need this year and next! This is also why I'm doing eBay. Our accountant told us it could be used towards those important quarters. So let's hope for a perfect job or good sales - I don't care which!
