I like change, don't you? You can tell that I just changed the way the blog looks. Through change comes progress. What if we were still driving buggies around? Not that I ever drove one, but I've definitely heard about early vehicles and watched the History Channel. I know Big Mama used to tell us about when she was little and they would go all the way to Norfolk in a buggy from here. It must have been an all day trip! When it was cold they would tuck the horse-hair buggy blanket around her. It was incredibly heavy; I guess if you were that cold it felt pretty good.
We have so much to be thanking God for. Every time we turn on running water and have an indoor shower. When I was little our bathroom was on the porch. At least I had a bathroom indoors!
We don't have to cut wood to stay warm in winter or boil water for a bath. We don't have to make our own blankets or even grow our own food. It's all right there waiting for us.
When you watch tv tonight instead of reading by candle light remember to thank God for His blessings and for letting things change.
